As part of the EU-supported Open Café series taking place in Guria, writer Dato Turashvili met with local residents

With the support of the European Union, the Open Café series continues within the framework of the “Green Guria” project.

On June 25, 2025, residents of Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri took part in a meeting with writer Dato Turashvili held in an Open Café format on the topic: “Europe and Georgia: A Shared Value System.”

The aim of the Open Cafés is to raise public awareness and encourage dialogue and civic engagement, which in turn positively impacts citizens’ social and living conditions.

The Open Café series is held within the framework of the ongoing EU-funded project “Green Guria.” The project is implemented by CENN in partnership with the Young Pedagogues’ Union, the Democracy Institute, and the Keda Local Development Group.
