
With the support of the European Union, LAG representatives visited Keda Municipality
With the support of the European Union, on February 5-6 of this year, representatives of the Local Action Groups (LAGs) from Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, as well as Guria, visited Keda Municipality on a working visit.
During the visit, representatives of the newly established Local Action Groups from Guria and Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti met with members of the Keda LAG, learned about their experience in forming a LAG, developing a local development strategy, and their activities. Additionally, the Chairperson of GALAG, Nino Tikurishvili, provided them with information about GALAG.
The purpose of the working visit was to facilitate experience-sharing between LAGs, exchange ideas, and discuss potential cooperation.
As part of the visit, representatives of the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti and Guria Local Action Groups visited business projects implemented in Keda Municipality with EU funding under the ENPARD program, including: „Shato Iveri“ – Facebook Page; „Kerki“ – Facebook Page; „Kai Fries“ – Facebook Page; „Hill Inn“ – Facebook Page; Zipline – Facebook Page
The working meeting was held within the framework of the EU’s ENPARD 4 program, in collaboration with the Innovation and Reforms Center (IRC) and CENN’s project “Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth.”
